The Inn at the Presidio found us by accident. I thought the $80 parking fee for a downtown hotel was too expensive, and here, on this historic barracks site in close proximity to the Golden Gate Bridge, it was much cheaper. What a luck. Because the hotel is really stunning. Rooms, lounges, breakfast: everything was great! Instead of golf, you might stroll through Presidio Park and marvel at Andy Goldsworthy's natural art.
