The Bonham Hotel, located at Drumsheugh Gardens in the West End, is a small and very cosy city hotel that scores points for its location alone. You can walk to the foot of Edinburgh Castle in just a few minutes and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy reach. Depending on the category, the rooms are relatively compact, but that shouldn't bother a golfer at the start or end of a golfing trip to Scotland. We only tried No. 35, the hotel's restaurant, for breakfast. The latter was definitely very good. You can definitely go for the place. (Photo © The Bonham)
