The flagship hotel of the Marine & Lawn Collection completely won me over. First of all, there's this spectacular and unbeatable location, right next to the 18th fairway of the most famous Old Course. But the hotel is also really good in every other respect. From the sensible digital and always friendly personal communication to the tastefully furnished rooms and little details such as a shower with perfect water pressure and temperature control. A clear recommendation for St Andrews, which is of course a great destination anyway.
