This impressive 13th-century manor house comes with its own golf course that is ranked in the Top100 of Scotland's golf courses. Not that bad, actually. The hotel itself is okay, as is the restaurant and the bar. At least I think so. We stayed there during the Corona period. The service wasn't great, but it wasn't anywhere at the time. Bonus: It takes you only around 40 minutes on easy driving roads to Cruden Bay and the Aberdeen Airport is even closer by.
