The Dowans is probably more of a hotel for whisky lovers on a Speyside tour, but it's not too bad for golfers either. With Boat of Garten and the two courses at Moray Golf Club, several highly ranked courses can be reached in under an hour's drive. The hotel is definitely worth a visit. And so are the restaurant and the impressive whisky bar. Very much so.
