In 2008, my wife and I got engaged in this hotel. Therefore, I am perhaps not entirely objective when it comes to the evaluation. But even when we returned 15 years later, we found the castle and all its facilities simply wonderful. All the public spaces, the fantastic rooms, the nice restaurants and bars and a scenic location just outside Donegal Town with more nice restaurants, pubs and, you guessed it, a perfect links golf course.
