I played the course at Boat of Garten at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains in April. It had just come out of hibernation. The many trees were still leafless and the heather was only a glimpse. Nevertheless, it was a pleasure to play the course with its links-style fairways. James Braid at its best. How lovely it must be here in the summer or autumn? I think I'll have to come back then.
