In the 1990s and 2000s, Gut Kaden, north of Hamburg, was a regular venue for European Tour tournaments. In 2006, Lee Westwood shot a course record of 63 here. It was around this time that I became interested in golf. It was a matter of honour that a few years later I wanted to play there myself.
